Parsley - Petroselinum Crispum
Parsley (Petroselinum Crispum) is a biennial herb that is native to the Mediterranean region. It has a long taproot and grows to a height of about 30cm. The leaves are bright green and feathery, and the flowers are small and yellow. Parsley is a good source of vitamins A, C, and K. It also contains antioxidants and other nutrients that are beneficial for health. They are used as garnish and to add flavor food.
Plant during Spring/Autumn in full sun. Germination takes about 14 – 30 days, and you can harvest the leaves at about 70 – 90 days. It can be used in a variety of dishes, both cooked and raw.
