Bookmark: Quiver Tree

The bookmarks are handmade from 100% recycled material. They are eco-friendly and have embedded seeds, so they can be planted to grow flowers or basil and tomatoes. A perfect gift for yourself or a friend who loves to read.

Artwork by Maritza van Zyl. She is a mixed-media artist based in Malmesbury. She considers painting her best friend, and her studio as a place of solace, and the Naïve Art style she creates gives her the freedom to paint and produce from her soul. She draws inspiration from artists like Henry Matisse and Marc Chagall. “Colour me Africa” is her bright and beautiful interpretation, depicting the South African fauna and flora as legendary characters from a magical world.

Bookmarks measure 55mm x 200mm.

Each unit has a small hole and a piece of twine and comes with planting instructions.

Seed options:

Flower mix: We use a mixture of different seeds depending on what we have in stock. It usually is a mix of some of these seeds: Alyssum, Poppies, Snapdragon, Baby’s Breath, Vygies and Virginian Stocks
