This Growing Paper calendar is not only beautiful, but also functional, sustainable and plantable.
Made from 100% recycled paper that are embedded with seeds, each page can be planted to grow flowers, herbs or vegetables, once the month is over. The artwork on this calendar is especially designed by local mixed media artist, Martiza van Zyl. She considers painting her best friend, her studio as a place of solace and the Naïve Art style she creates gives her the freedom to paint and produce from her soul. She draws inspiration from artists like Henry Matisse, and Marc Chagall. “”Colour me Africa”” is her bright and beautiful interpretation, depicting the South African fauna and flora as legendary characters from a magical world.

Calendars measure 100mm x 140mm and includes a Growing Paper cover, back page and 12 month pages all wiro bound at the head to an A-frame backing board.
