Mini Card: Mom

Our mini cards are printed with original artwork by local artist Fathima Kathrada. She is a multidisciplinary creative specialising in illustration, hand lettering and graphic design. She has a handcrafted approach to her work and relishes the human “imperfections” in things made by hand. The “Fathima’s Studio” range was especially created by her to celebrate and congratulate all occasions. Handmade from 100% recycled material, these eco-friendly mini cards are embedded with seeds, so they can be planted to grow flowers or basil and tomato.

While the card might be ‘mini’, it will send a big message! Not only will the delightful artwork brighten the receiver’s day, they will be delighted for many more days and weeks after they plant the card and it starts growing.

Each Growing Paper mini card comes with a locally-produced brown paper envelope made from recycled material and contains planting instructions for the seed paper. Mini Cards measure 75mm x 60mm.

Seed options:

Flower mix: We use a mixture of different seeds depending on what we have in stock. It usually is a mix of some of these seeds: Alyssum, Poppies, Snapdragon, Baby’s Breath, Vygies and Virginian Stocks
